My favs are definitely: Nirvana, Van Halen, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Aerosmith, Alan Parsons Project, AC/DC, Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, The Beatles, Disturbed, Queen, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Electric Light Orchestra. I'm into 50's, 60's, 70's and the 80's. Some of the new rock is alright but I prefer old rock. Stuff like The Temptations, The Supremes, Paul Anka and what not rock my socks. I've also got a petit taste for dance stuff...techno and trance.

I think most music is disgracefully commericalised, Nick.Gustv, including Rock and the music you suggested. It's not just Hip-Hop, Rap and Pop. Anyway, I like Post-Rock stuff. Mainly Radiohead, they're one of the few bands I see thinking about music.
Ive listen to pretty much everything in my time although ive always liked Dance music mostly. I guess my favorites are: Dance (any ibiza stuff really) Rap (dre, eminem) Uk Garage (oxide and neutrino, so solid crew) In my slightly younger years i use to listen to underground, happy hardcore, jungle, drum and bass and all the other hard stuff Still listen to a bit now.
I think I have a universal ear, but when I hear some rap song or pop or most new radio stuff I run and hide. If I were to name all of the bands or groups I liked I would run a page long and more with the stuff I forgotten. I mostly listen to electronica though.

I like every single manner of music that is played on the airwaves, and 99% of the music that is not. I like every single type of music and each genre is represented in my music library somewhere. My favorite band of all time is Metallica but don't let this lead you astray. I also am a big fan of the electronic genre, being, of course, techno, trance, house, progressive, dance, etc etc. I love Juno Reactor, Tijs Verwest (Tiesto), and Orbital. I also like some gangsta rap, alternative rock, a little numetal (although I dont respect it), country, old rock, classical - like I said all sorts.
My favs Punk(Suicidal Tendencies)Grunge(NirvanaAwesum) Trash Metal, Rap(Method Man),Trance,Tekno, Reggae And Gabbamusic though. So a whoooole lot of things.
