vBulletin 3 Release Candidate 2

    vBulletin 3 Gamma - Released

    Well, after a long long wait, vBulletin.com is finally running vB3 Gamma. This means Release Candidate should be out in a couple of weeks, followed by Gold, which is when I'll upgrade this board ;)

    The server has been online/offline quite a bit today, so in case it's not up for you (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/) here is an image of the new style:
    Also attached is the original (purple) style, so you can compare.

    Once I upgrade to Gold, you guys will have your precious hacks back ;)

    Kier is an awesome guy, and he did an excellent job on the new style, but as much as I hate to say it..It (style) reminds me of Invision. Still, it looks cool though.

    Looks good.
    Seems to be more sophisticated than the current version and the search and quick link features are cool.
    The whole thing just looks more professional.

    Then if you manage to get some of the old hacks added on................

    Well, it's definitely the best free (to an extent, free) board out there, but ehh, it's that's like comparing Pizza Hut to frozen pizza ;)

    And yes, we will also be adding a new custom style when vB goes gold as well.

    There are many changes to come, so stay tuned ;)

    Ooh, I just noticed I forgot to turn off the MGF Toolbar in the screenshots :D

    It's been delayed, but that should be released soon too. Just need to another new feature to it ;)

    Well, just an update..Relase Candidate 1 is now avaiable.

    This means hacks can now begin.

    I tested the shoutbox on localhost, and it's looking good :)

    Cool .. Yes .. have already done the RC1 Upgrade .. thanks for the heads up on the security fix Vile .. will get onto that immediateley :)
