Top of your head.. what do you think societies turned into from back then and then now...

Then (70's and before):
- 50 cent chocolate bars
- Hippies
- Enviromentalists
- Fighting the Soviet War Machine
- Hendrix, BB King and John Lee Hooker
- Activists + Protestors
- Candy bar theft, "Immigration"
- Gandhi/Mother T
- A day at the park with the family
- People not going to highschool and living it off after Junior High living decent lives
- Human body mapping/breakthroughs
- Unchecked illegal underground marketing (Black Market)

Now:
- Oil Prices
- Goths -- UNLUMPED
- Anarchists -- UNLUMPED
- Russian mafia
- Techno/New Age
- Terrorists + Payed suicide bombers
- Weapons smuggling, People Smuggling
- Saddam/Osama
- A day carefully watching your kid keeping him/her close
- The ones who stay in high school go up in ranks and the ones who dont/cant end up homeless
- DNA Mapping/Organ selling for cash
- Black...er... market

So what do you think? All that just came from the top of my head

How the hell did you end up with goth/anarchists in the present?
Do you know what a goth actually is? Real Goths started out as an underground off-shoot from Punk in the late 70's and apart from a few die-hards died out in the mid to late 90's. The kiddies running around now listening to Marylin Manson and Ozzy Osbourne are NOT - REPEAT - NOT Goth!

Yah, they're just people who have too much money for make up. Those kids no nothing, they say want to be different from everyone but they go and dress up like the rest of their friends.

rogue.. the goth/anarchist situation has shot up in the following 30 years. I know it existed in the 70's. Like terrorism, Saddam and the internet.. but they were still small.

but why lump goth and anarchists together? Goths are a fashion statment - anarchists are political.
