    Now that school is out, they just illegally download software all day because they have nothing better to do. Hell, when I was 14, I worked full-time in summer. By 16, I was holding down 2 full-time jobs (75-85 hrs/week). I think these kids should get a job and then they could legally purchase their games, and wouldn't have these problems that they're experiencing ...

    Hey, this is international forum. Do you really think that everybody in the world would like to legally buy the games they like ??? That is nonsense ! I have about 40 games including newest ones absolutely for free ! I just downloaded them using Bittorrent. Do you know that only that one little program makes 35% of all internet traffic ? It is very popular and its popularity is growing every day. You can not stop it. Maybe you in America would like to comply you laws but other people do not. Every game I have works just great ! I never had any problems with downloaded games. I can freely get nocd cracks and any serials over the internet. The sites providing nocd cracks do not know whether I bought this game or got it illegally, they just give me the cracks I need. All they can do is to try to convince me to legally buy the game. Moreover I can normally install all official patches and updates. They all get cracked with time eighter. For what purpose do you think DaemonTools is made for ? Not for legal games ! And it is a free program ! All the stuff you need to run illegal games is freely downloadoble from the internet. If some kidds can't figure out how to use that stuff, thats just problem of lacking experience. And I would say that the amount of hacking teams is not descending, it is growing every day. Some teams exists for decades (!) and do not intend to disappeare.

    Flaming again, SAG?There are a few rules that you(and everybody else) agreed when you've registered. I just recommend to read them again.And I wish somebody would steal your work.Just to know how it feels.Daemon Tools was a virtual drive in times when you were allowed to do a backup copy and use it from your PC.Times changed...Crack weren' t too many back then as most of the game didn't have a protection.The sites might provide you the cracks, but the forums n:confused:ne mistake and the site is closed. All the big three are located in countries where braking the copyright law can bring you a hefty sentence to jail.If you don't like this forum, feel free to go.You can read it without post it.And the kids should get a job or ask their parents to buy the games they want.They should learn the purpose of a demo or how to read the reviews available all over the internet or inside the old fashioned PC magazines.In European Union most of the countries have harsh laws against piracy.Exceptions are Switzerland, Norway,Sweden, Finland and Denmark.Some of the countries who entered recently in EU don't have the mechanisms to apply those law(Poland, Hungary,The Czech Republic) and that's true for the future candidates(I think those are Bulgaria and Romania).But that situation will change soon.And the teams that you are talking about...Let me see: Razor-most of them behind bars,Hoodlum-behind bars,Class and Fairlight-disbanded or behind bars. And the list is long.Some were lucky enough to avoid jail, but even Reloaded has members behind bars.Even if they don't intend to disappear they will be forced to take an early retirement. The no-cd were meant to keep your CDs in the box,but someone used them in the wrong way.Since then the protections are getting better, and the laws worse.There were abuses from the both parts, so the blame is split.

    As wolfsrain said, the same is true for CD-RW drives when they first came out. They were intended to make legal backup copies of your discs (software and music) to prevent deterioration, and they ended up being used for illegal activities. Yes, it's much cheaper to download games illegally, but when you get hit with thousands of dollars in fines for each game, you will realize that it was better to have spent that $50 instead of $5000 ...

    I know the rules and I do not intend to break them. I do not provide any serials or links to them and do not try to advertise wares. It is your own choise how to get the content you interested in. All I wont to say is that there are a lot of people that do not care about any copyright or some laws.
    You right, the only way to exist for crack providing sites is to state that they provide cracks for legally owned games. But that doesn't mean that anyone else can't download that stuff. How can lawenforcement determine whether I download the wares or legally buy the information ? Only by providing a supervisor for each computer ?! Or maybe they can implement monthly raids in campuses ?! Campus local networks never been legal, but I think they will exist always and never change their nature. Why can't I share my music or games with my friends ?

    Easy answer for you SAG. The big, bad corporqate people are saying to you that is against the law.An they are prepared to enforce those laws by giving you a nice, big fine or even a visit to a nearby jail.At least this is true for US.First the movie became an industry, music followed quickly after. Than they've made the television an industry.Sports is a business and now it's the gaming industry.So you see, entertainment became an industry.A business must produce profit.If there is no profit, the business go to bankrupcy.Of course they went over the common sense limit, as people didn't organize against the abuses.But see what happens when people make a stand(the lawsuit against Ubi and Starforce is proof of what the consumer can do,being organized and having the means to fight).There are tons of overlooked means to make the corporation bow.And not buying their products, taking the surveys who are telling them what we actually want or making petitions are some of the passive means to fight them. but that doesn't mean that you are allowed to break the law, as long as that law it's still in place.You can make them change the dumb laws, you have the means.Ubi sales dropped at their best titles since they put Starforce on their flag games(Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six, POP).Of course the protection did its job.Yet,it wasn't unbreakable.But it took over a year.And Ubi didn't sold as much as they've expected.Depite the fact that their games were good.Late may they've announced that they will drop Starforce and they did that(Heroes V is the example).So there are means to show your discontent without breaking the law.

    i have a problem in installing NFS-MW.
    its saying that "you need to install dierctx 9.0c or greater"
    the catch here is i have 9.0c installed in my machine.I even tried installing directx from the dvd of it, but still it gives that error.

    If its an image where did you get it from/.
    What was your previous motherboard?
    What is your system specs now and previously?

    and in my version i only needed turn off emulation and there was special image to mount.
