Guys,I`m planning to install Windows 2008 Server.Is it faster than Vista?I think it is.What do you think?
I dontt a Server OS will have a good use on a normal PC. You better wait until de Betas finish on Windows Seven
I know you want to hear its faster, so you could get some more performance out of pc and not upgrading it or buying new one. But it just wont work, server oses aren't made to run on everyday gamers machine. As i already said you, once you will need to buy new pc if you want ot keep playing new games. I know i am annoying with it, but its true. And upgrading this one wont do it. I currently have: CPU: AMD Athlon X2 5600+ 2,8GHz RAM: 4GB DDR2 RAM Patriot 800Mhz Graphic: GeForce 8800GTS 320Mb Sound: Soundblaster Audigy MB: Gigabyte M55S-S3 And seriously thinking about upgrading.
Yur configuration is similar to my old tower. You can paly some games on it while you buy a new one buy you have to play old games I played Unreal 1 thorugh wine yesterday played fine
