  1. I always get consistent speeds with Steam wether i'm downloading a game or updating.
  2. I have to accept something

I dislike Steam pile of crap protection as hell

    But Starforce was/is worst
  3. it is alright. does the job (just about) not liking all the adverts and the presure to buy all the new games and stuff. just love the way my ISP have capped my internet and this option of getting games and stuff is becoming more popular.

  4. Essexman aka Billericay guy. Long time not see you here man . Where have you been?

You were the tech head fixing probs here before Shambles that looks he gone forever too

Good to see the old faces again
  5. Steam is from this moment on my sworn arch enemy. They have actually gone and deleted CS 1.6 from my steam acount, I`ve called them and mailed them(with a picture of my cd-key) .All steam has said to me is.....nothing!!! We dont know why and we cant do anything!!! thats it!! I`m going to buy it AGAIN tomorow but this is not going unpunished, I seek revenge............
  6. did u say hack i didnt think u can hack stream?
  7. LIES!!!:angryfire I don't know what you are trying to accomplish by lying to us, but let me tell you the truth. I currently only have HL2 fully playable and Portal is downloading at 5kb/s. For one thing, this is too slow for my liking, it is doing 1% per hour, and this is just downloading. I have got ADSL, so it should be quiker. HL2 was the same. Now after and during HL2 have finished downloading, I went into the properties, and I set it to Do not automatically update this game., but when i close the preferences and re-open it, it is back to the Always keep this game up to date. option and it still does this now even after it is fully updated completely.

Please do only one of these 2 solutions
    1) [censored].
    2) OR Stay offline all the time, never go on the internet so that steam doesn't even get a chance to update anything :)
  8. When Steam works as fast and efficient as its supposed to its wonderful. However, if you got dail-up like me or it just doesent like you, well, it sucks the big one
