They aren't out yet, and it doesn't require it, you misread the article. The game supports 512MB cards, but it can be run with the "512MB Features" enabled on any type of card that can run the game, it will just lag like hell.
i know this has nothing to do with this thread but i cant work out how to post new threads. can some1 tell me please?
128mb, and this is the one i'm using: http://www.digital-daily.com/video/gecube_radeon_9550_pe/index03.htm I get 50-70FPS with this baby on CS:S
I have this, is not the best but was the thing I could buy G-force MX 4000 128mb , the previous was worst and old a vanta 16 mb (very obsolete now days)
memory for storing textures and stuff is great, but i think that pure clock speed matters most, as i'm stuck with a FX 5200 (sigh)
i have a x800 pro with 256mb and i run doom 3 in ultra high with no probs ------------------------------------------------ AMD Athlon 64 3200+ MSI k8t800 fis2r 512mb ddr 3200 ATI X800 PRO hd maxtor 250gb 7200rpm 8mb buffer hd maxtor 160gb 7200rpm dvd +/- rw 4x2x12x watercooling evercool wc-101 WinXP pro sp2 dx9.0c
gainward gf4 ti 4200 128mb +vivo it was a popular card, still works ok for hl2 avg 30fps amd xp 2500+ barton 333fsb 512mb ddr400
I guess 256 is the amount, but is on a dual card system. dual Nvidas 128mb SLI bridged and more tech stuff that I have no idea about, but speeds it up. And helmsdeepelf, dual beats single every time buddy! sorry.
nVidia GeForce FX 5200 128MB...this a decent card or not? it runs halo ok at 800x600 but sturggles above that.. if i needed to/were to upgrade could i get a decent 256MB one for 100?
NO NO! Ok 128mb of video mem isnt bad, my geforce 6600gt has 128mb and runs halo maxed with ease. I would not recomend below 128mb but i would go for a new card like a 6600gt with more gpu power for better performance if you are on a budget cause getting like a 256 older card for limilar price even with more mem wont out perform my card. and your halo performance is the same as what i got with my 65200 so it isnt bad for that card
I'm borrowing a GeForce FX5200, because my old 5600 almost set on fire. I'm currently waiting untill I can get a Ati Radeon 9550. My current and old gfx card both had 128MB btw.
Have a nvidia Geforce Ti4200 with AGP8x with 128mb of ram! think that's enough to play doom3 & half-life 2 decently! (and they do work)
I've got a Radeon 7500LE 64MB I haven't bought many new games recently but It runs Beyond Divinity and CounterStrike:CZ with no trouble. The price I got the Card at was literrealy dirt cheap!
Both cards have 256mb ram, I like to buy older cards like the ati power colour 9250 But i will only buy them with 256mb, I recently bought an ati radeeon 9250 pci 256mb for like 40, I am Verry happy with it and it out preforms the "Geforce 5200 BFG over clocked" by quite some degree in My oppinion, for less money, why do things by 's Get 256mb
GeForce 4 MX4000 64MB. Its a heap of .... well you know what. Barely runs Halo in low graphics, can't run Medal of Honour in medium graphics. But it gets me by. Just!
My main PC has 256. My wife's PC has 64. My baby boy's PC has 32. My laptop has 32. My spare PC has 128.
pciex geforce 6600le oc 256mb ... i believe this is a really really good card but why the hell cant i run nfsmw on MAX?! or even lower settings on 1024 res.;it lags and annoys me, just 800x600 . darn it, anyone here know whats the real requirement for most wanted? hehe
I've bought a new system with ASUS-A8N-VM motherboard. It has integrated GeForce 6100. I dont know how much RAM it has got. Can somone help me in finding it out.. thanks in advance, my cousin said that the board uses some amount of DDR RAM for graphics, how to change this amount. Please help me ! I've got 2 x hyundai 512 MB RAM and NVidia Forceware 81.98 installed in my system. All games run smooth except NFS-UG 2 it runs smooth but the textures on the road are not getting antialiased. A weekback, the same motherboard anti-aliased the textures but now it fails to do that for NFS UG 2 only. Other games get anti-aliased. I've tried uninstall and reinstalling the drivers and still its of no use !
I bought an Aurora 7500 a few months ago with the dual 7800GTX 256MB cards. I had an old XPS with an X850 but ATI and me didn't mesh well (had a lot of problems, especially with CS:S)
