It looks like EB has let the cat out of the bag and announced Halo 3 will hit the Xbox 360, exactly one year on from today on November 1st 2007. The game will be available in three packages, firstly there is regular, secondly collectors and last but most expensively the legendary pack at $99.99.

  2. Nice!!! If the 360's price drops by then I will be playing Halo 3 if not I'll wait until there is a price drop, which probably won't be for a very long while.
  3. I don't ever take release dates from stores seriously. If you look around, you can still find some places with a release date for Duke Nukem Forever lol. Although the fact that EB have those details on the packages, it could be genuine.
  4. 99.99$ for the legendary edition? I'd never waste that amount of money in a game.Pretty expensive.I can do better things with it. The most I have paid por game is 40 and rarely 50 if is really good only

Cant wait for Halo 3. I was really addicted to the first one. Didnt really play 2 alot but I might pull it out and give it a go again.
  6. I like playing against my friends on Halo

I'll probably just get regular, $99 is too much, even if you do get a cool Helmet
  7. hmmm... will there also be a pc version released??? or do we hve to w8 another year for that?
  8. Might be worth getting the legendary park, in my opinion halo 1 was a massive break through in first person shooters like 5 years ago, both visually and gameplay.

I did feel something was missing in Halo 2 though..
  9. Ya i agree
  10. With who?
    me?
  11. anyone watched the cool new vid of halo 3 its cool
  12. ahh yes...that halo3 is mine as soon as i get my Xbox360 in hand this Xmas....thanks for the info FG
  13. Halo was a good FPS on the PC, pity they never released Halo2 as well. Not into FPS games on consoles, they are best with a keyboard & mouse ;)
  14. ya i agree wit that but still halo3 m gonna buy the legendry pack
  15. I agree with Inq on this one Halo was good on PC in fact I am considering firing it up again later. But I cannot get to grips with a console FPS I just cant seem to aim straight with a constroler. I will end up playing Halo 3 tho because my friends will all subject me to system link in their stuffy B.O. infested bedrooms.
  16. I would be looking forward much to the new multiplayer features.
  17. Inquisitor, according to EB it will be relased on 5/08. I might just pick up a copy myself since I'm not currently subscribed to Xbox live just to play online. If you pick it up as well let me know maybe we can get a little onslaught going on Halo 2! ;)
  18. The legendary edition is only 69.99 here, I might have to buy that one
  19. 69.99!...I don't think I have ever paid that much for a game...
  20. Not to derail this thread, but with my old Neo-Geo system, I was buying games for upwards of $300 :p
  21. Oh that's right, I never got in to Neo-Geo, but I did hear the games were so expensive you practically had to sell your first born to buy one. LOL

I can't beleive it where they really that costly Idip? Why? Any specific reason for the price tag?

Sorry for twisting the track yet again LOL ;)
  22. I believe the reason they were so expensive is because it was basically the arcade box components (don't quote me on that, though)
  23. Time for another hijak of the thread :p

I don't think I'd pay that much for a game that wasn't a limited edition type of thing, or that didn't include the console.

But I remember paying that much (69.99) on my N64 games. They were really expensive. I can't really remember far back enough to how much my games cost. Considering I didn't pay for them before my N64/PSX days. :p :D

  24. And it will only run on Windows Vista! Can you beleive that?! LOL No DX10 for Halo 2 (which would have been nice), but will only run on Vista that is just crazy if you ask me.

Again with Microsoft's tricky marketing schemes. :blacmad
  25. Heh, they're trying so hard to get people to buy Vista. No problem for me though, I got Vista for free. :p
