Championship Manager 4

Hello to everybody. I'm a cm4-addict and I have the following issue: when cm4 was released, I bought it, but somehow I lost it. Then, I downloaded the game and I used a megagames no-cd fix, which worked through many years and many pcs, regardless of the software I used (WIn98, WInXP etc). Almost 20 days ago, a message popped up in my Pc, indicating that the game was "unable to start listening". However, all previously saved games, such as florentia viola.cm4, were able to begin, therefore making no matter of the message coming up. Yesterday, while trying to begin another game, the same message popped up but the game wouldn't start. I removed every file several times, installing and uninstalling the game 4 or 5 times in total. However, nothing good was to be done, since the same message keeps popping up and restraining me from starting a new game. What should I do? Any ideas will be eagerly heard, so if anyone has an opinion, please be so nice to inform me and help me out. Thanks in advance.
