Best ipod video converter

What is the best ipod video converter? Im looking for a program that can convert avi, mpeg, and other formats into ipod format.

There is a program called "Total Video Converter" (google it ) it will also do this, it can change from every format to any format, strangely it cant convert TO .wmv though it can convert from it
