I just picked up this v-card & it's GREAT!All my games I can crank up the resolutions & detail & it doesn't quit!One problem,I can't seem to play MAX PAYNE with it.I downloaded the drivers & even the ATI control panel. Maybe I need to download OPEN GL drivers?
When you download the latest drivers you should have updated your Open GL If you can goto your Control Panel and look at your Graphic Card properties and look at the Open GL settings and 1. Enable Buffer Region Extension 2. Allow the duel planes extension to use local video memory 3. Use fast linear-mipmap-linear filtering Do you have the latest Direct X ??? Hope this helps
Probs wit da ati The problem with that ati card is that it has differnt problems with random games. I have heard from several people about this same pro wit max mayne .I would really recommend taking it back and getting the newest Geforce4 .The Just realeased the AGP8x Version that doesnt have any problems with it unlike the ATI AGP8x version .And the bumped up the clock speed of the core and the mem so its the fastest card with the best image quality out there .
