There are other arguments going as to the cause of the 9/11 attacks. I would be interested in a poll as to whether you think the US Government was caught napping or darker forces were at work. Were the 9/11 attacks a result of .. The US Government caught napping. or A conspiracy by the US Government and others. Thanks
There are conspiracies, and there are Conspiracies. A conspiracy is something feasible, something in which the protagonists had a lot to gain, and little to lose. A Conpiracy is something extreme. It's something near impossible which people choose to believe, not from some intransigent logic, but merely because believing it in some way confirms their world-view. This is the latter. Honestly, would the government take this risk? So many hundreds of things could go wrong, just one leak to the press before the event, or any tiny mistake in what would have been a perfectly and minutely timed operation and it would have been very much the worse for those involved.
Maybe for once I was expecting a civilised response, afterall I am after some votes around here and not a full blooded explanation, and that start of a slagging match between JAG and Scotty or anyone else. So for anyone else who wants to post in this thread. All I need is for you to tell me what your response to the question. Simple

Caught napping as usual. One hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing. Bin Hiding could have sent a postcard telling them prior to the attacks and they wouldn't believe him.
I'm positive i've already posted on this thread... Erm, I think the U.S. Govt were caught napping... I watched the 'new' Loose Change last night, and some of it is 'too good to be true', if you know what I mean...
