Respectable?

Gamecube might earn my respect after all. Final Fantasy is coming to the Gamecube, if this game is exclusive it gives me a reason to buy a Nintendo manufactured system.

Apparently after the huge lost due to Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within Square is going for any method possible of obtaining sales.

If they get FF series or other Square stuff, they've practically won the console wars. The price is so low, assuming people haven't bought PS2 already. Promising games to match PS2. Plus all those Nintendo enthusiasts (not fanboys

)already on boat for the GC. I think X-Box will be out, the main competitors are Sony and Nintendo.

It doesn't look like standard FF gameplay tho. How come it's sorta like action, Zelda kinda. Not the RPG I'm used to. I think its action RPG...too early to say for sure tho.

Did you read the article saying that Square probably will be pushin their games out faster? I hope that doesn't screw up the quality of the games. Quality is what they're known for.

Final Fantasy isn't the best part about GameCube... Zelda is good, Metroid Prime looks absolutely AWESOME, Super Smash Bros. Melee is the best multiplayer game ever created, and Super Monkey Ball 2 should be fun for multiplayer. There are many more games coming out, and with Nintendo starting to let more third party companies develop games for their systems, there will be many great games to come.

I think GameCube was always better then XBOX... and I'm not bashing XBOX or anything, I just think GameCube will have better games in the future.

I think the final fantasy series should stay on the sony consoles cause they have been there for a long time. but I am curious to see how the one for gc will turn out.

Yes, Final Fantasy did start on Nintendo. I'm glad they are making a game for GameCube and since Square always wants their games to have outstanding graphics, they will be able to do so on the GameCube, which supports better graphics then PlayStation2.

its great to see ff come back to nintendo, nintendo has always made fantastic profit on games like zelda and it will certainly give nintendo a boost because ff is so successfull for playstation, even if it is getting a little boring considering the 11th(!) game is on its way. personally i am not a great fan of ff but it will help nintendo get publicity.

Eventhough FF started on nintendo, Nintendo will never live up to what Sony PSX/PS2 did to Final Fatansys imo. But I hope FF for GC is awesome.

xbox pride baby, ok maybe nintendo is finally shaping up and looking toward the mature gamers, RE, and FF, but i'm sorry the control flaws are way too bad for me to overlook, and plus, nothing beats a halo frag match while a couple m8's after a few beer, eh?
