I must hack the cube!!!!!!

This is mainly to Scyraxxx,
I must hack the cube becuase I am getting tire of waiting for some else to.
So I went to some other forums and found that a team called enigma is making a mod chip for the gamecube.
There is also a rip off group from france that has copied them.
The chips name from the rip off group is titanchip.
What I was wondering is why do you need a modchip in the first place?
I have read from tons and tons and tons of people saying that they got copied games from hong kong and that they are on
mini DVD-R and normal sized DVD-R with out there system being modded and they seem to play fine.
As for the normal sized DVD-R you must leave your top to your system case off because otherwise they don't fit in the CD tray.
There are also Hong Kong Silvers.
What is this hong kong silver???
I tried to do some tests my self for rippping but no luck yet.
My DVD burner wont even read the game files.
I did manage to rip a bogus file from the game that tells you to only play the disc in a gamecube system.
So does this mean its a mini DVD or what?
Does anyone here know how to rip the data from the disc?
I hear there are Iso's on the net but I have yet to find them.
I also hear that you have a friend that gets copies?
You should ask him how they go about ripping the data.
Or ask him to get kazaA or Dirrect Connect and share either the data files or Iso's for the GC.
I want to put an end to these rumors and make some trueth out of all this.
I am sure some one on this forum knows something about how to,who knows,or where that info is on this subject.
If you know something about real rips being made let me know because I think we have waited way to long for this system to be hacked.
Oh one last thing I also heard something about there being a modified IDE cable running from the Cube to the PC port to read streaming data but how could you record such data to make a burnable ISO?
Streaming data is not the same as ripping files right?
Thanks for looking.

I'm not sure you will get too much help here, well maybe on some things but you are talking about distributing ISO's which means you really aren't making back-ups and are making illegal copies. And personally I think those teams making the chips are scamming people, when the Cube is cracked you will know, it will be BIG news.

I agree with back upping GC games if you own the original, but I will always BUY my GC games just to support the guys and girls who created them.

One day, a hacker will be able to backup GC games...it's unavoidable

I am not trying to pirate Iso's I am wanting to make backups of games that I have already perchased.
Like the zelda bonus disc as there are only so many of these that were made and I was lucky enough to nab on so I would like to preserve this game and play a back up of it so that I may add the original to my video game trophy display area.
I have a great collection display in my house.

No problem with backups. I just want to backup the games because imagine you screw your CD, you have to pay 50 damn € to get yourself a new one.

anyway, Nintendo makes great games and diserve to be paid for it
