HalfLife 2 + Cssource

Hello, i have a problem:

I bought hl2 (Pack in 5 cd´s ) , when i finish the installation, i go to the crack folder
Vengeance, there are 4 files:
Hl2install.exe
Client.dll
Steam.dll
Steamemu.dll

I copy these files to "G:\Games\Valve\Steam" and overwrite only Steam.dll.
I open Hl2install.exe and it say me "Cannot startup steam"

I try without overwriting and nothings happen.

Wo can help me?

I didn´t download the game.
There is any problem if i download it?

What concerns me it that you have successfully installed the game from your original disks, then you try to crack the game.

What is the problem with using Steam to play the game, instead of using the cracks???

There is a problem if you downloaded the game illegally.... mainly because you won't be able to play it easily. If at all, or fully.
