There Isn't any until now. Tried the Mini-Images, the 5Mb thing works for me.

Mine crashes just after the flash screen, windows XP gives the good old error message.

The error is the generic one that WinXp gives about a program having to shut down, and asking if I want to send a report to M$.

I have read the rules of this forum, and wouldn't be asking about it if I was breaking them. I'm going to try a reinstall, and all patches. Tomorrow, it's midnight now.

Try updating drivers, DirectX. Make sure you have Daemon-Tools 4.03.That image worked for me too.Make sure also that you have XP with SP2 installed.

and yea updating windows usually means a LOT less crashes and so forth in my own experience anyway...

there are seperately mini images for cd and dvd version. If you use dvd mini image and install game from from cd, it is will crash. I had install with cd version and used dvd mini imgae, game crashes with same error. Then i use cd mini image and it works. Try this. May be it work for you also.

It was a CD image, and I installed from CD. I tried to reinstall, hello... CRC errors.... This is more trouble than the game is worth to me, so it just became a birthday present. *Makes note to self - do not recommend this game.*

if you bouth it recently and still have a proof or purchase slip then u have the right to return and ask for a replacment, (in ireland anyway lol, probably same where u are too) You need to state tho that the game was faulty since u bought it and has only worked properly on one occasion at most...but thats if u bought in in say the last 3 weeks

tho saying that we have a years gaurntee on things here, software may be different i dunno

lol, i've also got the game, but i've also always get that message. no matter with or without the original disk, why? because my computer isn't good enough

The warranty is around a month or so. If the scratch appeared because of misuse or bad optical drive, the warranty is invalid. You can send a email to customer care or techsupport asking if you can return the disk or get a replacement. Most likely it will cost almost as you get it new, mainly because the postal taxes. So wait a bit and you might find another version at sales. You know the drill, after six months the price is dropping around 10-15 bucks. if you are lucky it will come even around 7-10$.
