Unhappy Chaos Theory

Hello A couple of questions for the above game.

Right I am having a nightmare with this backup copy of the game.

The origional CD works perfectly fine but the backup does not...

I have followed the instructions on GCW's site and no avril I get 2 errors:

One telling me to insert the CD into another drive and try again now if I do this I still go in this loop ....

The other one saying that the disk Key does not match the one on the CD...

Anyone have any ideas whats going on?

Many Thanks

James

Since the game needs the disk to play, why don;t you just use the disk to play? Their is virtually no legal way around star force 3, at least not that I know of. If their was one, I'd use it to play on Windows XP x64.

The thing about the disk key is most likely because you either entered an illegal key, or you mis-typed your own legally bought key.

Anyway, have you tried updating your Starforce drivers? I don't have the URL on hand, by I'm sure if you 'google it' you'll find the URL. Also, you could try patching the game. I think the latest patch is 1.2.

Hi,

Thanks for both of your suggestions...

As for the USB method dosent that involve a USB Writer or something? I am not really prepared to pay for one of them just so I can play 1 backup game.

As for the whole use the original CD... I would do but say if I lost it or it was scratched or something...

If you cant make a Legal backup of the CD then why?

I know that piracy is illigal n stuff but if you cant play using the back up because you cant be arsed looking for the original at that time then what are we ment to do?

Is there no way around it?

Many Thanks

James
