OKay my english is not good but I hope U can help.

I have a 100% working HL2 CD key but when i do register on stram it say s i must do the HL2 Cd in. ( i dont have the cd i have download hl2)

What can i do?

Did you download from steam?

EDIT: Oh wait, I know what you did , you took a CD-Key from a display HL2 and tried to log into steam to download it LOL

Retail CD-keys are only valid for installed HL2's you will have to buy it online if you want to play online.

Okay i ask u in german i hope someone understand:

1.
ich hab half life 2 auf Kiwi Runtergeladen dazu habe ich six steam (dazu sixsteam patch) mit einem account der immer bei Serververbindung (z.B in HL2 Deatchmatch) " Your Steam Ticked has expired, pleas reenter ur passwort to contenio" angibt, und wenn ich nochmal passwort eingebe komt wieder das gleiche.

2. Jetzt habe ich einen 100% funktionierenen cd key aber wenn ich den z.B auf steam eingebe komt " Pleas insert your HL2 Retail Standart CD or DVD into your drive" und auf six steam komt "You All ready have this games. You can access them via the game"

Wäre schön wenn du mir helfen köntest, eigentlich bin ich nur ein noob aber ich hab alles versucht HL2 online zuspielen (ausser Kaufen) und werde es weiter versuchen.
