Crack Crisis!!!!! Plz Help

ok here my problem i have been looking for a crack for warcraft 3 frozen throne v1.17 and i found one so i saved it in the warcraft 3 folder in c:drive and i cant play witout a cd am i doin somin wrong...oh and i try to make games on battle.net but have a nother problem my firewall wont let any 1 join my games i have checked the tecnical suport and tried every thing but nothing works i am using windows xp home, 512 ram,sp2, broad band internet, pentium celuron...if you can help it will be greatly apreaciated!!!
