swapping hd?

im tryin to swap my hd, ive zero'd the new hd, cause it was used and i got it back i the xbox. but when i boot it up with my evox disk im gettin a error 16 message. did i need to transfer any files first befor disconnectin from the pc. all i did was zero then took it out of pc and put it back in the xbox. ive got the jumper on master. is there a way or can i just put it back in the pc and put my old drive in the xbox and transfer files needed then boot and finish the partion???

change it too cable select and then make a evox/ boot disk. read the tutorial at www.xbox-scene.com or download the team xavier multidash installer at globalhackz forums (in my signature) or their evox installer.

the auto installers are definently easier than redoing it via ftp

thnks snick, but ive tried locating and auto installer even at ur site and i cannot find, im stumped on that part. the evox boot disc ive got has been workin. before i zero'd the drive i had put it in the xbox and i could get in it but the xbox would not boot up without the disk so that is when i relized i had to zero the drive first cause it was a used drive out of my pc. is there another way to go other than autoinstall? i goin to keep lookin for an autoinstall though.

if you want i can post the link to an auto installer here (GHACKZ keeps on changing the urls for the other ones)
ill post a link for the multidash one. its definently the best way to go cause if you have had that drive in a pc they are real buggers to get working manually.

ok what you gotta do is open nero (if your using it i only use that and dont know how to do it on other ones) then goto file -> record image or something like that and open the iso
