I'm trying to play Spyro 3, Year of the Dragon. I have an old (5 years?) stealth mod chip installed on my playstation. It is not one of the 3-4 wire ones. It had 7 or so wires.
I have never had a problem with any games, and still don't with the exception of this game. I did a bit of poking around and I see that this game is on the protected list.
I have never had to burn these CD's with any kind of patch or anything. Do I need to burn this CD with a patch? Is this game even playable on a PSX with a mod chip?
I tried opening the console at certain times during the bootup, but it always ends up displaying the message "Program terminated. Console may have been modified" or something like that.
My son is dying to play this game. Any help for this rookie would be appreciated. Thanks.
