dont use Evo-x use M-X-M

it has been reported that with the new 137gig plus hard drives patch it disables some files in evo-x from running.
also it has also been reported that Evo-x has had mempry leaks on your xbox.
i got the sources for evox and they are not nice to work with .
the cgo script in evo-x can corrupt your xdk xbox files if you use it wrong.

M-X-M on the other hand is different. sure its a bit harder to use and its not for noobs but it has a steady ftp server (unlike evoxs especially in the latest release) and is allot better.

personally myself use M-X-M but i use avalaunch as my main secondary dash (that kicks ass too)

the jist of this is DONT USE EVO-X!

im net to X-box scene but i have evox running on my box and it seems to be fine.

i transfer my data from the ftp at max speeds, and have had no "Big" problems, crashes etc. but also it was easy to start with. seeing as i been at it for close to a week now.

EDIT: But again i am a newb.

No Way no how!!
Evox is the best and will alway be the best so I think I will stick with that.
I have a 120 GIG HDD in mine and it plays flawlessly.
Who in there right mind would put in a 500 GB HDD anyways?
There arn't that many games releast for Xbox yet even if you do Import from another country.
Why not try buying a game or too instead of being a cheapo and copying every game you rent!!

ok yea evo-x is alright if you dont use a 137gb plus b ut when you do it starts to freak out. i tried it in one of my clients xboxes and just completely freaked out if it was runned from the hd. fine if it was a disk though.

and besides the person asked for a 500gb in there with some sort of good dash.

and i dont rent games and put them on my hd anyways i legally buy them on put them on there. i have to do that for live anyway

so yeah everyone has there own preferences and what they want

cheerz
