Office Alternative

I love this software so much. OpenOffice is a proggy that i believe can run under Microsoft Office however it is entirely free. it is THE BEST free Microsoft Office Alternative. However I use it because it is the best software available (also because i dont want to spend 400 bucks on everything, furthermore becaue I hate microsoft).

Thanks for the link Aman .. but I think I will stick with the " Devil " I know, as all my clients use the Microsoft Office Suite software .. and as the old saying goes " If it isn't broken .. don't mend it " .. could be a useful prog for those not already using the MS Office though

Nice link, but as Rocol, most people with which I deal use .doc and .xls formats too universal
I also use acrobat writer and reader quite a lot.

If you're used to using other office suites - such as Microsoft Office - you'll be completely at home with OpenOffice.org 1.0. In fact, you can continue to use your old Microsoft Office files without any problems - and if you need to exchange files with people still using Microsoft Office, that's no problem either.
just as to let ya know

Oh in that case... THANKS AMAN! I hate MS Word for the simple reason that it does things that I don't ask him to do (I know, you can turn that off, but I don't know where all those pesky options are)

I think I'm going to take a closer look at Aman's link
