Which files should i take of or change to make the game fit on a normal 4.7GB disc

the demos folder i think it's xdemos directory but you need to have x2 latest bios so that it boots or patch the game cuz the game has a dvd check!

Ok here's a small tutorial to downsample the game so that it fits into 1 dvdr:

FTP the contents of the DVD-ROM or image to a temp DIR
i named mine. Brute
so put all the files into c:brute
delete the following...

c:\brute\mech\*.*
and
c:\brute\FX\*.*
and
c:\brute\videos\*.*

*.* means all the files inside that directory. dont delete that directory... it will fit snug on a DVD-R
if you want you can delete
c:\brute\data\movies-pal\*.*

Note dont delte any directory just files inside the directory,

you'll now have to patch the game cuz it has media check on xdemos n default.xbe here's how:

i do not need 2 patch games but wat about other games how do i know wat files 2 take out of other games as not all games have demos please help thanx

Not all games are dvd9, just a few of them! if the game has demos you can take that out just remove a directory named xdemos, that will make the game fit on dvd5, if not! some games have movies on 2 or more languages, remove all and just keep the english ones, if the game is 2 big (like mgs2 substance) you will need to split the game in 2 dvdr like mgs2 substance, but so far that's the only game i've heard of! you need to patch the game if u do not have the latest x2 bios since games made after march of this year have cd/dvd check.
