Mafia running problem

I�ve just installed mafia and it all went ok. Now, I insert CD 1, it autoruns and I click play but nothing happens. I only get a couple of windows saying LS3D Engine and Init Error. I�ve tried all the fixes here in megagames and in gamecopyworld with no luck. I have the fairlight release.
Please, help me

Update your graphic drivers and get latest DirectX.

I�ve already installed the one that comes with the game itself and it is the last one, version 8.1. Please, look
HERE to see the error window that I get so maybe you could know what the problem is.

It�s fixed now!! You were right. The problem was caused by the drivers.
