Underrated/Under appreciated Games

Any games you think are underrated and/or under apprectiated, or just obscure titles that nobody seems to have heard of but you think are brilliant.

Personally I think that Battle Realms and Fallout Tactics on PC are vastly under appreciated and Gex:Enter the Gecko on Playstation was pretty underrated.

Crash Team Racing for me ... it's probably one of the best Character Racing Games for the PS1, it went Platinum, but it's never talked about ... compared to Final Fantasy VII / VIII

Ah you beat me to it. The first game that came to my mind was Battle Realms. This game was absolutely amazing, and although it got decent reviews, they didn't do it justice at all.

Beyond Good & Evil 2003 Ubisoft from the same rayman creator D' ancel

The game was great good story but didnt sell even 200,000 copies

In my opinion, 'Crash day' was an underrated game. Multiplayer in crash day will be fun, never tried it though. The game engine and graphics etc were quite good. I liked the game a lot. Another game that comes to my mind is The thing, it was a good game too. Keeping my fingers crossed and expecting a sequel sooner or later.

It is a shame Battle Realms didn't sell as well as it should have, it was far more original than Warcraft 3.

Acal, apparently there is a sequel to Beyond Good and Evil in development for 360 and PS3. Unfortunately it's aimed at more casual players to avoid the 'commercial failure of the original'. It doesn't sound to good.

To me another underrated game or games would have to be the Prince of Persia series, i loved the sands of times, warrior within and the two thrones and you don't really hear much hype about them.

Age of Wonders series, Warlords Battlecry and Warlors series, Disciples 1, Beyond Good and Evil, Post Mortem - Still Life - Still Life 2, Battle Realms serie.
