copying ff10 for ps2 problems

i am having problems reading final fantasy 10 to my harddisk.
it drops out with an error at 57% stating it cannot read audio.
i have tried nero 5.5.7.2. and clonecd.
any help would be greatly appreciated
i have a pioneer a03/103
and a liteon x16 dvdrom
and have tried both and neither will read it
