List of Backupable games?

Hey everyone. getting started in backing up games. Just wondering if there is a list anywhere where it lists all the games that can be straight backuped by the original and games that need patches or rips and stuff? let me know, thanks

If u have a dvd writer then all the ps2 games can be straight backups.The swap chips need EA cdrom games to be patch with a ea fix.
But if you have a direct boot chip like messiah,messiah 2,apple magic 3 etc ... then no patching needed.

thanks, for media, i heard the purple bottom dvd-r blanks are the best. that true?

Dark purple (ritek dye).Yep there excelent discs.

actually, Jedi Master, aren't games like Xenosaga not straight backup able from the original? Just hoping for a list to save myself from making costers.

xenosaga can be backed up but you need to downsample the movies abit or just get the kalisto release as your back up.

is there a tutorial on how to backup xenosaga??? or a dvd rip kit for it??? btw was the kalisto release??... excuse the ignorance but im new to this... i have done a few backups but not dvd9 to dvd5 yet... tnx in advance.
