Time on Messiah Chipped ps2?

Hey everyone. I just got my messiah 2 and chipped my ps2 with it. but what was weird is that i can't set the time on the ps2 and when i play games like xenosaga, the time that ticks to let you know how long you have been playing doesn't move. it just stopped. is this suppose to happen? let me know, thanks.

You dont set it up from the game, read the instructions you got out of the ps2!

i didn't say i set the time and date from the game. to be more clear, i try to set it from the system config in the ps2 menu and it won't let me check the time or date. i'm just saying, in the game like xenosaga, the time doesn't move.

in some games i could see that as an advantage

i have a hessiah 2 pro in mine and the clock works fine on all things
in fact ive had no problems at all
try reading the fault diagnosis at the bottom of the chipping .pdf file youll have downloaded to chip your ver ps2.
