Bull Crap!!
I just called sony of america and they told me that what he is talking about is a remodeled ps2 with cheaper inside parts.
wich also will come with a new harddrive and built in broadband adapter.
It will be releast in a new sleeker form and in multi colors.
This new release is dew to piracy and sony has a new lockout system that detects if any of the insides have been tampered with but they did not tell me where inside or how it would work.
The woman also said that ps3 is to be unvailed at the tokyo game show 2005 and no earlier.
All other info is top secret and can't be releast to the public.
So I don't know where that guy got his info from but I got mine from the horsesmouth.
If you want to know more about the new ps2 call sony for your self.
Really if you ask me this sucks becasue I already have a playstation,Psone,and a Ps2.
Looks like I will have to get me one of those new ps2 systems to go with my collection. :grin: :mad: :doh:

yeah, no real reason to release it this early when you can just make it better in the next year. sony has nothing to worry about and can wait. plus this is like Anubus said an updated system. kinda like the PSOne. Same thing but a couple added features.
