Alright, heres the deal, i need help kinda quick with something I don't think can be done. If anyone knows how to transfer information from a Macintosh zip disk to a comp runing Win ME, let me know. The problem is it asked me to reformate the disk before the pc would reconize it. Please help! Oh yeah, I'm trying to transfer photos, saved in photo shop.

Yeah some are, but it only seems macs read pc files, not the other way. Do you think there is some way around this? I'm talking mostly about .pdf... whats the difference between that on mac?

ok people - make way.

Format the zip disk in the PC then move it onto your mac and stick the files on it.

PCs cannot read mac format, but macs can read pc file formatting.

- this way you will be able to use the disk on both systems.

Problem solved.

the newest drivers don't allow you to go mac to pc but older ones do. Thanks Jamez:D

Jamez: this is what i found on the web site:

"I cannot change Macintosh® formatted Iomega® disks to PC formatted disks on my Macintosh OS 9.1 computer using the Iomega® Tools software
Document # 10899.html

If you have a Macintosh® formatted Iomega® disk that you want to re-format as a PC disk, the option within Iomega Tools is not available. You may reformat a PC disk as a PC disk using the standard Erase function within the Macintosh operating system.

It is possible to replace the Mac OS 9.1 version of File Exchange with an older version. This older version of File Exchange will allow you to format a Macintosh disk to PC format."

When you download the iomega tools, the newest drivers are included, that's why I said drivers. The computer currently has the latest IomegaWare installed, and the problem fixed. Thanks again!
