just heard on the news Barry Sheen died either today or yesterday. He was suppose to be a high ranking official at yesterdays Melbourne Grand Prix.
Sheen (1950-2003) born in England and residing on the sunshine coast (QLD Australia) died of stomach and associated cancer aged 52.
who was he? - started out as an ace motor bike rider later moving into general motor sport and car racing announcing.
famous quote from him --> In 2000, "There are a lot of Rookies at Bathurst this year who are here for the first time."
