Problems installing Unreal Tournament 2003

I am having problems installing my copy of UNreal 2003 (if you know what I mean!), install stops half way through disc one and reports that tauntpack cannot install??

Now I think it might be something to do with a previous cracked version of Unreal Tournament. Can anyone confirm this?

I highly dought that the old unreal tournament would have anything to do with the instalation of Unreal 2003, and you don't have a burnt version of Unreal 2003 do u?

It's the original version ;)

Trying so far to install into another folder (I haven't deleted the previous version of Unreal yet) but won't finish the install. Just keeps throwing up the error message!

Any ideas? would be very grateful!

try installing the game into C:\temp\ that seems to help sum times. I know it helped when I went to install Baldurs Gate II. My installation wouldn't finish either, for BGII.

Cleaned the CD's and tried installing from a temp folder on the hard drive but still no joy. I've checked everything I can think of, drivers for graphics card, compatiblity etc...

Still no joy :(

Maybe your cd1 has a scratch and that file cant be copied, try taking it to the store where you bought it and get a replacement

well... this worked 4 me when i tried to use back up copies of the game...
make some ISOs of the 3 CDs of the game, n the load any ISO with the Daemon tools... so u can now install the game...

note that this way what ur doin is testin ur CD Rom drive... cuz thats a problem with ur CD Rom drive but not with ur CDs

If it says an error, try to find out which files are screwed. And ask someone who has the game to send these files to you.

Did you try to install the game on another computer?
