dvd backups

What is the best way for backing up dvds, using dvdxcopy at the moment but r there any better techniques

Have a read here http://www.dvdrhelp.com and http://www.doom9.org and goto there forums,you'll find info about dvdxcopy and others that haved used it.

I dont use it dvdxcopy though. Theres also alot of ways to backup a dvd movie,it comes down to personal use.What you wanna do.I only keep the movie ,5.1 audio and the chapters,also the odd sub track if needed.The odd dvd9 like mean machine(R2) for example never had extras so i kept everything as there was only the movie,one audio track,one sub track and a menu that was about 2-5mb.

But then others have there own ways to backup,your'll see that when you read some info from those forums.

As i said its personal reffrence.
