Mod chip or Boot Disc?

hey i was wondering if u guys burn games and use a Bootdisc and a modchip i need ur dicison which one is better cauze my friend wants to buy one and doesn't know which one is better thanks

whats the different's between mod and boot disc

mods better..... its direct boot so u dont need to swap it like the boot disk.... and mod is more reliable
