Easiest Program for Animation

I want to start doing some VERY basic animation...like for sigs and stuff like maybe just something glowing or lighting up text

ive been to gees gees site (it rocks) she has tutorials for everything but i was wondering...which program (as a n00b to animation) is best/easiest to use...im pretty familiar with things in photoshop and simple images but id like to add some lighting or something like that in names and such

so from experience which programs do you find most effective to use? this way i can get all read up on teh TYPE of tutorials im looking for

mate i am with you on the some animation or flash stuff would help out a lot.

Swish for easy Flash text effects, Ulead Gif Animator for easy animated gifs. If you are familiar with Photoshop use Image Ready or Animation Shop if you prefer Paint Shop Pro.

thansk everyone...also rocky make a thread for that questoin...but i believe u are gettign that because you are possibly using a used cdkey i dunno

anyway...for a start...ill go with swish 2 is the latest right? and imageready since im not too bad with phtotshop

flash im going to try a little after these 2 programs
