Something really werid is going on at the bottom of my task bar, where all the programs run in the background, the task bar is flickering from left-to-right at a fast pace.
Any suggestions as to why this is happening:confused:

have you tried and restart your computer ?
might be a temporary bug.

That was the first thing I did m8, and still the same. I have also run Norton AV Pro 2003 after I re-started.

That means its not a virus, well the best thing is rebooting your computer if you have no clue what it is, try defregging you computer go to start and you will find the disk defragment from there click on that a clean all your drivers.

I am using Win 98se with all the updates from MS. I have a GeForce 3 Ti500 Graphics card and all the drivers from Nvidia.
Although I have differant display drivers, with 98 I have version 4 and when I change to XP Pro (duel boot) I have version 6.1.3. I haven't used XP Pro for a couple of weeks, I will see if there is a problem with XP.

*Update*
I switched over to XP Pro and there wasn't a problem so I went back to 98 and I formatted the HDD and re-installed 98se Now the flickering is gone.
bloody pain in the bum :cussing:
Thanks for your help ppl:)
