i have a problem on msn messenger i have just set up my new computer with windows xp as my os i use msn a lot and i get a lot of files throught msn but since i have had my new system it wont let me recieve files i have took down the xp firewall but still no luck with it can any1 help me please.?????????:cussing:

use msn messenger instead.

win messenger (built in win xp) is laggy and not as good as the standard messenger.

HUH? didn't know they were different progs... except for the lay out of course. Anyways, I don't have XP, so I don't know if it's good or bad.

i had the same problem but now i use msn Messenger 5.0 and the problem is gone so it may help if u use an other version of Msn...

You might need to update the msn messenger or reinstall it thats all i have just try those.
