I am plannning to get a mod chip for my ps2. just wondering which chip to get? i am looking for a non swap chip. please let me know your opinions, thanks

most of magic chips are fake u probably got lucky mark n besides magic chips sux!

I would prefer Magic 3 because its pretty easy to use.

well i can assure you my mgic 3 aint no fake, as i said i sent my ps2 away to be fitted, and ill tell yeh, ive had no problems at all, plays everything, cd-r, dvd-r, boots up straight away.
the only prob i found is that most back up games on cd-r are not full versions, so my advice would be only buy dvd-r back up games.

Well, I fit on a weekly basis (no, I am *not* offering) a number of magic III's with only a little bit of bother. Messiah II's are just hopeless, and a real pain to fit.
The laser is the only real pain, if its not spot on you can expect trouble loading your backups.
If your PS2 is a 300003 model, its a real pain to fit a magic.
My advice, get an XBox. Easier to chip, built in HD.....
