ive put in the correct no cd patch from mega games, games fixes and when i try to apply it ,it says opening madden nfl(tm) 2002 exe..failed, locating file manually...ok, ERROR...access denied..maybe the file is write protected. what does this mean?

do you have original .exe file in your game folder ?

apply the crack by copying cracked .exe to madden folder.

It can also mean that you need to copy some files from the CD to your HDD: you have to do this with many games if you want to apply a NoCD crack. But don't ask me which files, I never played that game.

I have a problem with this game also. It always takes forever to load. Any ideas?

do you use a crack or original exe ?

check if it still slow with original file.
