My pc keeps on restarting!!!!

I'm not sure if anyone can help me with this one, but my pc keeps on restarting itself for no reason. In the past 10 minutes its restarted 3 times!!!. Can someone please help me with this. It would be highly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!!!

well check and make sure the jumper on you motherboard that controls the rest is on right or somthing isn't shorting it out

what os do you have ??

this can be several reasons, problems:

bad cpu fan so your cpu gets too hot
faulty power supply
faulty motherboard (my friend had same problem it was his mobo)

try and update your graphic card drivers to latest version
do a system restore if you have win me or xp
try and run comp without case, if it works then, it's heat problem

Yeah I think it's the heat... When I start it up the system temp is like 100 something and the cpu is like 130. But Im gonna buy a new comp[ soon with a better cooling system and stuff. But THANKS guys for the help!!!!

I've had the random reboots every now and then.
If your using XP, then right click on My Computer icon > Advanced >Startup and Recovery and then untick 'Automatically Restart'

then next time when it crashes (reboot) note down the STOP error number and message. then go to MS's site and key in the STOP error no. for a solution
