I only started this thread to clarify (again) what I posted on the same in Chit Chat... I NEVER said that America saved Europe during WWII!!!!
In fact, I said "I'm not saying that without us (America) everything would be lost." I just meant what would you have had America do, stay home and twiddle their thumbs while Hitler overran Europe?! "Oh, we should just stay home and not care because it's not happening to us..." And,AGAIN I cannot control the US government!!!!
Kee-rist,people, please read more carefully! I really don't enjoy looking like a big fat jack***! :D
The point I was trying to make was human life is the same (TO ME) the world over...and I'm sure I'm not the only American that thinks this way. So why the big debate over "is it really that bad just because it happened in America, and the US is making a big deal over it"? THAT'S A RHETORICAL QUESTION!!!!! I just can't believe anyone thinks like that, I'm sorry. :)
Tomorrow, some people will mourn their losses.
Some will pay their respects and some will go on with their lives.
Lets just leave it at that!

seeing as this thread was closed before i could get to it,
I agree that the guestbook idea sounds like a good idea. If Vile has time and like the idea also, I am sure he will implement it.

Guys read the history books.
As for teh U.S entering WW II:
The U.S had a reason to enter the war, the U.S, it's property and it's interests were hit by the Germans and their allies.
BTW- as for the U.S saving Europe, Nobody can be sure what would have happened, but without the U.S forces in the Desert campaign, without the U.S forces on D day and without the help in Italy....The chances were not in the favor of Europe (Just England).
True England and Russia both fought with valor, but without the combined efforts of the U.S Russia and England the war might have ended in a diff way.

well not exactly sure what the time was over here but it was close to or after midnight, so technically 9/12 ;) but I remember I did not go to bed until 3 am in the morning.
I was waiting for a few more planes to come down, thank goodness no more did.

To put nuts in control of power you end up with a lot a hitlers ,so I'm glad that we have america as a aliey and not as an enermy for this reason alone is that america is a very powerful nation i'm so glad that they are on our side we need a strong nation to put a stop to all this madness and yes do not forget that your nation is as strong too. So if all the good nations got together and stop these mad men in our world there is a chance that we all can live in harmony as one.it was a very sad day for the hole world to hear what had happened to America I was shocked to see that some people have no respect for a other human lives just because we do not belive in their ways and blame us for it
So lets not forget peace too all on earth.

Heh, I think any ally of America is happy to have America as ally. As I already said, America is the "police of the world" and that's a luck, even if we don't always agree with them. Even if the European Union is quite powerful, I'm happy to have a more powerful nation on our side.
What happened on september 11th is AFWUL and Bin laden diserves to rot in a cold prison for the rest of his damn life. I don't think European people will disagree with that. I have plenty of respect for the victims.

Europe is also not close to America, but I still feel concerned. The entire Union feels concerned. For some sick countries, today will be the celebration of 11th september... how is this possible??:( :(

With that aurthority, Spy, comes responsiblity. America is gallavanting around in gumboots, when it should be treading carefully...

PS There is no 'anti-US' sentiment here, it's simply their actions I'm speaking out against.

Silly boy, that's the point--I'm an old fart at thirty! :( Glad I made you laugh,though...just joking with the "silly boy" line, btw (if you couldn't tell, lol). K,nuff spam or I'm gonna get in twou-ble! :D
Well I guess I'm a bigger ole' fart there, then, now. :cry2: But I agree with ya there kiddo.
I Feel very bad for what happened, don't get me wrong, but Americans aren't the only people who die. I can remember septemer 12th, when I woke up down here in Australia, I did stay up until around 5 in the morning at my friends house, but i wasn't waching tv. When i was woken we turnt the tv on and saw what happened. I will never forget it eaither, but think how all of you would feel right now, if you lived in Iraq, knowing that any second a bomb could come falling through your roof and kill your family. You havn't done anything wrong, but your family is dead. How would that make you feel?
Don't take this the wrong way, i have nothing against civilians, it is their leaders who do wrong, I don't want anyone to die, I just want change. I don't believe that extremists like Osama bin laden should (supposedly) do things like that, but we have to understand where he, and whoever else helped him, are coming from, i don't believe in destruction and death, i believe in piece, but no one can rid the world of terror by causing terror. by doing that it will just provoke more anger and retrebution on their behalf.

Oh,Fred...I do agree with you there...innocent people are dying for American "justice". I don't agree either, but I also have no other solution to offer. It's just so sad... :(
