850 mhz overclocked to 901 mhz AMD athlon
128mb memory
8mb nvidia tnt2 graphics

now...heres the weird part

medal of honor needs

450 MHz Intel Pentium or 500 MHz AMD Athlon processor
128 MB RAM
8x CD/DVD-ROM drive
1.2 GB free hard disk space
16 MB DirectX 8.0 compatible video card with OpenGL support
DirectX 8.0 compatible sound card

it says u need at least a 16mb...i have an 8...how teh hell am i playing this game??? it works fine...

the demos of this game bf1942 dont work...i dunno why...but heres the specs for that game

Windows XP/Me/2000/98 (NT and 95 NOT supported)
500 MHz Intel Pentium III
128 MB RAM
4x CD-ROM drive
1.2 GB free hard disk space
32 MB hardware transform & lighting capable video card with DirectX 8.1 compatible driver
DirectX 8.1 compatible sound card
Keyboard; Mouse

so what do i have? cause id really like to know why i have an 8 that works on a 16...

battlefield 1942 demo wont work because it says

hardware transform & lighting capable video card

Tnt2 do not have that feature so it wont work you really should buy a new card

Dunno why mafia wont install ,only thing i can think of is that it checks the garphics cards memeory and if its under 12mb then it wont install.

Any way even if mafia did install it would just suck you would proberly get about 12fps with everything low on a 8mb tnt2

Maybe you should just go buy a cheap 32mb graphics card.

probably varies on different games as Armadillo means

you should really get a new graphic card lol, atleast 32 mb

MOHAA is a very hard game to even play it, i agree with above, buy a better graphics card or try rebooting your computer.

i think you have to open it to see if it has an agp slot or if you know what motherboard you got just check the specifications for the board should say what slots there are.

either check the manufacters homepage of your mobo

or check with Sisoft Sandra - http://www.sisoftware.net/

if you are opening the case, the AGP port sits bit further back than the PCI
also AGP is usually brown in color

hope that helps

yes.
go to start -> program -> accessories -> systemtools -> systeminformation

now check in the list where it says BIOS.

or use Sisoft Sandra and check it up there.

Listen: it's not hard to open the case!

You can tell if you have a AGP slot if:

Where the PCI cards, on the top of all those there should be a brown slot that is shorter than the other AGP slots. That is your AGP slot. If you don't have it, then you can't get one!

If you REALLY need someone else to tell ya, then give me the model # of your Compoop PC and I will look it up for ya ;) - Love ya! :D

AGP slots are brown and shorter and PCI slots are usually white. A 8MB video card usually would be a PCI Video Card. If you are asking me what kind of motherboard you have, then I have to say that your motherboard is made from compaq and it's crap. I'm not trying to be mean but i'm trying to be honest with you. Your system really can't go anywhere, build yourself one m8!

As Aman has said, it is not hard to open your case. Don't worry, you won't break your computer just by looking inside. :)

Deadlus is right: I researched it and ur mobo is a compaq branded piece of poopoo. It's worthless and you will never be able to upgrade it! Sorry!
