Help, Hard Mode, Boss: Metroid Prime

[Final Fantasy]

:cussing: I am not the patient type. If I don't get any help soon, my controller, maybe even the entire cube, are going to suffer damage. I breezed through the game the first time I played it on normal, but Metroid Prime (the boss, not the game) is like 1,000,000 times harder on hard mode. It's the first form that keeps handing me my ass. The second form would be cake if I could get to it with 3 or 4 energy tanks left. I almost beat the second form with 2 tanks, but I made a couple of mistakes, and that's about as many mistakes as you're allowed on hard mode. And yes, I know all about Gamefaqs.com, but they don't have anything good on hard mode. If there are any Metroid masters out there, I would greatly appreciate your help.

i was going to tell u about gamefaqs.com but i c u already checked! i don't m8 i bought the game but haven't been able to play it since i lost the controller. buy the walktrough! ;)

I know how you feel. it took me a few days to finaly beat that stupid thing on hard. its all timing, like any other metroid. watch for his charge then change into the ball and roll away as quickly as possible. other than that, just take your time (dont laugh, its hard but you need to take this one slowly). I had half of my tanks full for the final room with the guy. Although, i must admit, there was a LOT of luck involved with this one.

same here. i finally beat it last night. i had half of my tanks left, but i suspect lady luck helped too. i'm working on a faq now for gamefaqs. thanks for the replies.
