Is there a cd no patch for road to rome that works online yet?

Use the battlefield 1942 1.3 patch which will update road to rome and battlefield 1942 to 1.3.
Then use the fairlight no cd crack on gamecopyworld for battlefield 1942 which also includes the mod.dll which will make road to rome no cd as well.

Then use this patch

On the main battlefield 1942.exe ,now you can play both battlefield 1942 and road to rome online as long as you have a valid key

OK i did all that and it seems to run without a cd but when i try to join a channel it says failed to connect to server

check if you have any firewall, lower it while you play.

Should work or at least it did for me untill they put the key check online ,now i gotta go get a key to play online :(.But i'm going back to 1.2 anyway the 1.3 patch sucks

Just use they key that came with your ORIGINAL copy.

Armadillo, your crack with fairlight doesnt work properly..it will allow you to play in sigle player mode but does not allow you to play online even after patching the exe file..and yes i bought the game and have a registered CD key...:rolleyes: ..hope somebody else release's a proper crack soon ..

Armadillo, i wanted to apologise the fairlight patch does work online :clap: ..i just figured out how to make it work and it works fine as long as you install it correctly ..btw they dont give to many instructions on how to do this so here goes ..

1. Freshly install BF-1942 onto your comp.

2. Patch it with the 1.3 version update (i located mine from Nvidia)

3. Use fairlights crack by firstly Extracting the cracked Exe file to the correct directory in your BF-1942 directory, then extract the mod's folder to the mods folder in your BF-1942 directory, then extract the Patch data folder to the Patch folder in your BF-1942 directory..DO NOT use the multiplayer folder found in the fairlight crack if you have a legit CD key leave that one alone you dont need it and if you try extracting it into your BF-1942 Dir you will get the msg, Data Differs From Server when you try to connect to an online server.

4. Create a folder and extract the Crack exe Fix, which can also be located from gamecopy world into it, its a small file and when extracted appears as an exe file with the logo: IMS, once extracted Cut and paste this file into your BF-1942 game diectory which holds your BF-1942.exe file or extract it directly into the folder if you wish i used the first method..once its in there click it to execute the file and open it with the BF-1942.exe file, it will then give you a msg saying it patched the file blah blah ...anyways enjoy ..took me a while to work it out hope it helps ;)
