No, I don't mean the Panasonic Cube!!!!
Anyone got one of these?
I should be getting mine imported from the US this week with RE0, 4 platinum pads, component cable and a memory card. Paid £270 for the lot including shipping, which is bloody good.
I ordered the console (£179, which came with RE0, 1 pad, and 1 mem card) from www.goblindirect.com, and the other 3 pads (£15 each) and component cable (£21) from www.lik-sang.com
All I gotta do now is sell my PAL cube.
If you can, get your pads and cables from the sites above, as a component cable doesn't even exist in England... went in to GAME, asked for one, and they said "What's that?" "Is that the RGB cable" . Even if you can find one, you'll be lucky to get it cheaper than £60, and the pads are £25 each over here!
PS: Sorry if i'm not allowed to post links to sites like those above!!

i agree that the platinum cube is cool, although if you already have a cube its no use. you know that they will just come out with other cooler gimmiks such as sony did with the colored p2's and this ticked me off. the reason why is cause i bought the original ps2 and then they came out with speacial colors that were cooler than mine. this is all just a sceme put out by the big companies in order to earn more $. i liked it when you bought a nintendo entertianment system and then 4 years later you got a snes. nowadays there just rushing the consoles and software like theres no tommorow. when did the game boy come out? 1990 when did the game boy pocket come out? 1995 when did game boy color come out? 1998. when did game boy advance come out? summer 2001 and now the game boy sp is comming out april. and nintendo is allready considering another console. so is sony. why? cant we just enjoy our games and gain great memories instead of becoming a pawn in the great game of coprate consumers? anyway, you cant just use component cables on a pal tv, you need a converter

2 things,
Firstly, I've gotta TV which has component video inputs so no need for a converter or anything. http://www.techtronics.com/uk/shop/862-toshiba-36zd26p-crt-widescreen-tv.html
And secondly, I got the platinum cube because I was looking at getting a US cube anyway, because i'm getting annoyed with waiting 6 months for the games to be released in england, and as the platinum cube is LIMITED, I just got that one.
If I didn't have any games, I would just sell the PAL cube now, but as I have 13, I still wanna be able to play them.
When theres a chip available, i'll sell my PAL cube and just have the modified US cube. ;)

This is where consoles annoy me a little... the fact that they don't make them in silver by default. My TV, DVD and AMP is silver, why do I want a black/purple console? They should make both black/silver versions availabe from day one, then if they want purple/orange/green, they can add them later.
Can't wait... should be here today or tomorrow! ;)

i've got one, but they don't appear to be very limited here in the states. i've seen a lot of them on the shelves. limited can mean a lot of things. it's probably just a gimmick to sell more of them. i don't really care though. I like the platinum better whether it's limited or not.
