Flash and vb6

I program in visual basic 6 and i saw flash and the programming looked similar. How much similar is it, and would it be easy to get into with my vb6 experience?

I don't know how similar it is to VB6 but you shouldn't find the Actionscript in Flash too hard. Give it a go, it's amazing what Flash is capable of with Actionscript.
