i have written this item because i have seen a few people asking for help with this game
it was written with newbies and beginners in mind
i know how to edit my registry it was only recently that i realised there are peeps out there who dont
and consider the subject black arts wizardry, so this is for them and all whom it may help.
{the clean way}
how to install spearhead
first off install medal of honour dont crack it
then install spearhead it will install the update\ patch for medal of honour
then it will install spearhead the expansion pack
then crack the two of them
and viola all done { i have have seen this fail to work on one machine } reasons unknown
so here is the alternative
if you have already installed medal of honour
and cracked it you must first edit the registry settings for the game
to do this you must go to start- run -type in the word regedit
when regedit opens it will look a bit like explorer
open the folder called h-key- local- machine
then open the folder software
again inside this folder open the one called EA GAMES
and again you want to open the folder called medal of honour allied assault
now what you need to do is click your right mouse button in the left hand part of the regedit screen
and select new / key you should now have a new folder on the left hand browser panel
you now need to give this folder a name,
you have to call the new folder 1.1.12.200
now press enter or click anywhere in the browser pane to activate the key
now you will be able to install the spearhead expansion pack
now crack spearhead
viola all done
except for one little thing
this has just created the folder that the update on the front of the spearhead game would have created
so if you have installed it this way you dont actually get the game updated
and medal of honour is a very nice game but it it needs its update to play spearhead properly
and if you dont know how to crack the game do the following copy the .exe file that you have downloaded
{the crack} and paste into the folder that the game created on your hard drive
i would recommend that you back up the original .exe { i have a folder on my drive where i keep all the original game exe files }
then if you need to update the game in the future you can return the original .exe to the game folder
you will probably need an updated crack if you update the game
