well right now.... sadly im using 56k again:o ... so i was wondering... since when im online... people wont be able to call my house phone number.... so is there a program where if someone is calling me.... it'll let me know so that i can turn off my dial up and answer the phone?? or anything of such sorts.... any help would be appreciated:)

not quite the same m8, the states have a system where your pc can be used as an answering machine while the user is online (modem)

check out pagoo (http://www.pagoo.com/), my misses use to use it when she was in the states and recommends it... it was free back then but now comes with 30 day trial.

might be ok until you find something a lil more permanent :)

(@non US countries, rumour had it they were to expand to other countries but dont know if they have yet :))
