Have no real number one, but Sam & Max is Deffinetly one of The Greatest games of all time (at least the funniest), and the Monkey Island series comes second. There, I said it...

Robinsons requiem and the great escape(a64, or zx spectrum one), or benefactor on Amiga was good to, Exile, they just dont make good games anymore, yes the graphics are great but where is the playability.

Well, this might seem obvious, but Half Life is still the best FPS. Though Quake 2 is a close second.
Best game from my C 64 days? Chomp! and Ace of Aces, without a doubt.
